Clamping head
Colette exchange time is about 10 seconds! Reduction of setup time, improvement of productivity.
The clamping head, which adheres metal with a special rubber, is an original product invented by Heinbuch in 1977. Unlike conventional spring collets, it has no metal connection, allowing it to make parallel contact with the workpiece without distortion. By clamping the workpiece with a flat surface, it achieves very high gripping force and has minimal wear, resulting in a long lifespan. The clamping head can be instantly replaced using a dedicated changing fixture.
